Retreat

How the retreat went for you

For students who came to Hume, grades 6–12.

You were at Hume. We want to know how it actually went for you — not the version you think we want to hear.

Some of this is about the retreat itself: what worked, what didn't, what we should do differently next year. Some of it is about you and God, because that's the part we actually care most about. If nothing happened for you spiritually, say that. That's a real answer, it's useful to us, and nobody is going to be disappointed in you for it.

This takes about 7 minutes. Most questions are optional. We do ask for your name, because we read these ourselves and we might follow up with you — that's the point of asking.

One thing we'll be straight with you about: if you tell us something that makes us think you or somebody else isn't safe, we're not going to keep that to ourselves. We'll bring in the people who can help. Everything else stays with us and the leaders who care for you.

You and God

What happened for you at the retreat? (check all that are true — including the last few)
It's been a few days. Where's that now?
Where are you with God right now?

How we can take care of you

At the retreat, did you have someone you could be real with?
Is there anything you're carrying right now that you'd want to talk to somebody about?

What's next

The Gospel of Matthew — we're reading the whole thing in September.
Discipleship Groups start in October — small groups that go deeper, about an hour.
And would that work better on a Friday or a Sunday for you?
