Any student in grades 6 through 12. You don’t have to be a member of the church, you don’t have to believe everything yet, and you don’t have to have it all figured out. Come with your questions.

Sundays at 11:30am is the best place to start. Friday nights at 7:00pm is where the community lives. Both at 5005 Edenhurst Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90039.

From day one, every student is placed in a grade-level Care Group with a Teacher whose job is to know them by name. And if they’re in middle school, older students called Buddies come alongside them too — not to teach or fix, just so no one stands alone. Belonging comes before everything else.

The Gospel, first and always — and then the whole of the Christian faith, taught in a way that grows with them. Younger students learn the big story of the Bible; older ones learn to ask hard questions of it and give an account of what they believe. We’re not here to entertain your student toward a decision. We’re forming them toward maturity in Christ.

Every student is known through a Teacher, who is cared for by the Pastor. Jr. High students also get a Buddy. Read more about how care reaches your student on the About page.

We don’t publish identifiable photos of minors anywhere on this site or our channels until a signed media-release policy is in place. It’s a firm line.

Weekly gatherings are free to attend. Retreats and some special events have a cost, which we share ahead of time — and we never want it to keep a student from coming, so reach out if it’s ever a concern.

6학년부터 12학년까지, 어떤 학생이든 환영합니다. 교회 등록 교인이 아니어도 괜찮고, 아직 모든 것을 다 믿지 않아도 괜찮으며, 모든 것을 다 알고 있지 않아도 괜찮습니다. 품고 계신 질문들과 함께 편하게 오시면 됩니다.

처음이시라면 주일 오전 11시 30분 모임으로 시작하시는 것이 가장 좋습니다. 금요일 밤 7시는 공동체가 살아 숨 쉬는 시간입니다. 두 모임 모두 5005 Edenhurst Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90039에서 진행됩니다.

첫날부터 모든 학생은 학년별 돌봄 그룹(Care Group)에 속하게 되며, 학생 한 사람 한 사람을 이름으로 아는 것이 사명인 교사가 함께합니다. 중등부 학생이라면, 버디(Buddy)라고 부르는 든든한 선배 학생들도 곁에서 함께합니다. 무언가를 가르치거나 고쳐 주려는 것이 아니라, 그저 혼자 서 있는 학생이 한 명도 없도록 살피기 위함입니다. 소속감이 그 무엇보다 먼저입니다.

무엇보다 먼저, 그리고 언제나 복음을 가르칩니다 — 그 위에 기독교 신앙 전체를, 자녀의 성장에 맞추어 가르칩니다. 어린 학생들은 성경의 큰 이야기를 배우고, 고학년 학생들은 그 말씀 앞에서 어려운 질문을 던지며 자신이 믿는 바를 스스로 설명하는 법을 배웁니다. 저희는 자녀를 즐겁게 해 주며 결단으로 이끌려는 것이 아닙니다. 그리스도 안에서의 성숙을 향해 자녀를 빚어 가고자 합니다.

모든 학생은 교사를 통해 한 사람 한 사람 깊이 알아 가며, 그 교사는 다시 담당 목사님의 돌봄을 받습니다. 중등부 학생에게는 버디도 함께합니다. 돌봄이 자녀에게 어떻게 닿는지는 소개 페이지에서 더 읽어 보실 수 있습니다.

매주 모임은 무료로 참여하실 수 있습니다. 수련회나 일부 특별 행사에는 비용이 있으며, 미리 안내해 드립니다. 다만 비용 때문에 학생이 오지 못하는 일은 결코 원하지 않으니, 부담이 되신다면 언제든지 편하게 연락 주십시오.
