— COLOSSIANS 1:28 · 골로새서 1:28Telos means the end a thing is made for. Ours comes straight from Paul: to present everyone mature [telos] in Christ. Not students who attend, not even students who know the right answers — students formed, over years, into people who follow Jesus as their own.
That doesn't happen in a crowd or a hallway. It happens the old way: a few students, one adult who actually follows Jesus, close enough for long enough that it rubs off. We come to smell like whoever we've been with. We want your child near someone worth catching.
텔로스(Telos)는 어떤 것이 만들어진 그 목적, 곧 '끝'을 뜻합니다. 우리의 텔로스는 바울의 말에서 곧바로 나옵니다. 각 사람을 그리스도 안에서 완전한 자로 세우는 것입니다. 그저 출석하는 학생이 아니라, 바른 답을 아는 학생조차 아니라, 여러 해에 걸쳐 예수님을 자기 것으로 따르는 사람으로 빚어지는 학생입니다.
그런 성장은 무리 속에서나 복도에서 일어나지 않습니다. 오래된 방식으로 일어납니다. 몇 명의 학생과, 실제로 예수님을 따르는 한 명의 어른이, 서로 물들 만큼 가까이, 충분히 오래 함께하는 것입니다. 우리는 함께 지낸 사람을 닮아 갑니다. 우리는 자녀가 닮을 만한 사람 곁에 있기를 바랍니다.
A small group of students in the same grade who meet every Friday with one leader to open the Bible, talk honestly, and pray. Same students, same leader, all season. The leader commits to every week — to learn your child's name, hear their story, and walk with them in the Word. Groups are small and grade-level, guys and girls separate, so the conversation stays real.
We're after more than attendance and more than right answers. We're after your child's heart: communion with Christ that grows character willpower can't fake, that holds when following costs something, that roots them in his church for good.
같은 학년 학생들이 한 분의 리더와 함께 매주 금요일에 모여 성경을 펴고, 솔직하게 이야기하고, 기도하는 소그룹입니다. 같은 학생들, 같은 리더로 한 시즌 내내 이어집니다. 리더는 매주 함께하기로 약속합니다 — 자녀의 이름을 익히고, 그 이야기를 듣고, 말씀 안에서 함께 걸어가기 위해서입니다. 그룹은 소수 인원, 학년별로 나뉘고 남녀가 구분되어 대화가 솔직하게 이어집니다.
우리는 출석 그 이상을, 바른 답 그 이상을 바랍니다. 우리는 자녀의 마음을 바랍니다. 의지로는 흉내 낼 수 없는 인격으로 자라나고, 따르는 데 대가가 따를 때에도 흔들리지 않으며, 자녀를 그리스도의 교회에 단단히 뿌리내리게 하는, 그리스도와의 사귐입니다.

신청 기간과 학부모 설명회, 그리고 일곱 번의 모임 날짜를 확정하는 중입니다. 전체 일정은 확정되는 대로 이곳에 안내드리겠습니다.
Not sure which group is yours? Go by your grade — 6th–7th, or 9th–12th. The one exception: any student in 8th grade or above who's planning to be baptized or confirmed this spring takes Understanding the Faith instead, whatever their grade.
You don't need to order anything. We order every student's workbook for them — the cost above is what the book costs us, passed straight to you with nothing added. You pay at cost when you sign up.
Groups are small, grade-level, and split guys and girls, so space is limited. If the cost is a problem for your family, tell P. SJ. No student stays out over a workbook.
어느 그룹인지 헷갈리시나요? 학년을 기준으로 하시면 됩니다 — 6–7학년, 또는 9–12학년. 한 가지 예외는, 이번 봄에 세례나 입교를 계획하는 8학년 이상의 학생은 학년과 상관없이 Understanding the Faith를 사용합니다.
따로 책을 주문하실 필요가 없습니다. 교재는 저희가 학생마다 대신 주문해 드립니다. 위 비용은 책의 원가 그대로이며, 아무것도 더하지 않고 그대로 전달해 드립니다.
그룹은 소수 인원으로, 학년별, 남녀별로 나뉘기 때문에 자리가 제한되어 있습니다. 비용이 가정에 부담이 된다면 SJ 목사님께 말씀해 주세요. 교재비 때문에 참여하지 못하는 학생은 한 명도 없습니다.
a faith claimed out loud 자기 목소리로 고백하는 신앙
If you're thinking about being baptized or confirmed this spring, this is the class for it. Understanding the Faith walks through what Christians believe and what it means to claim that faith as your own — out loud, in front of the church that raised you. It's built for 8th grade and open to any student in 8th grade or above who's considering baptism or confirmation.
Finishing the class doesn't automatically mean you'll be baptized. At the end, you'll sit down with a pastor and talk honestly about where you actually are. If you're ready, you'll make that confession in front of the whole church. If you're not ready yet, we'll tell you plainly and keep walking with you.
이번 봄에 세례나 입교를 생각하고 있다면, 이 반이 바로 그 반입니다. Understanding the Faith는 그리스도인이 믿는 것과, 그 믿음을 자기 것으로 고백한다는 것이 무엇을 뜻하는지 살펴봅니다. 8학년을 기준으로 만들어졌고, 세례나 입교를 고민하는 8학년 이상의 어느 학생에게나 열려 있습니다.
이 반을 마친다고 해서 자동으로 세례를 받는 것은 아닙니다. 마지막에 목사와 함께 앉아 여러분이 실제로 어디에 있는지 솔직하게 이야기합니다. 준비가 되었다면 온 교회 앞에서 그 고백을 하게 됩니다. 아직 준비가 되지 않았다면, 저희가 솔직하게 말씀드리고 계속 함께 걸어가겠습니다.
called to lead one? 리더로 부르심을 느끼신다면
Every group needs one adult willing to walk with a few students for a season. You don't have to be an expert — just someone following Jesus, willing to be seen doing it.
