No adult serves with students until we know them. Every volunteer completes our Education Department application, finishes California's Mandated Reporter training for religious organizations, and interviews with both the Telos Pastor and the Education Pastor. Anyone serving regularly — more than 32 hours a year, which covers our Teachers, Disciplers, and retreat staff — also clears California DOJ and FBI fingerprint background checks through Livescan.

We don't meet with a student one-on-one out of sight. Conversations happen in open rooms, in view of other adults, and an adult doesn't drive a student alone.

We don't publish identifiable photos of minors on this site or our channels until a signed media release is on file. That's a firm line.

저희가 알지 못하는 어른은 학생들과 함께 섬기지 않습니다. 모든 봉사자는 교육부 봉사 지원서를 작성하고, 캘리포니아주 종교기관 신고의무자(Mandated Reporter) 교육을 이수하며, Telos 목사와 교육부 목사 두 사람과 각각 면담을 거칩니다. 정기적으로 섬기는 분들 — 연 32시간 이상, 교사와 제자훈련 리더, 수련회 스태프가 여기에 해당합니다 — 은 Livescan을 통해 캘리포니아 법무부(DOJ)와 FBI 지문 신원 조회를 통과해야 합니다.

어른과 학생이 보이지 않는 곳에서 단둘이 만나지 않습니다. 대화는 열린 공간에서, 다른 어른들이 볼 수 있는 곳에서 이루어지며, 어른이 학생을 혼자 차에 태우지 않습니다.

미성년자의 신원이 드러나는 사진은 서명된 미디어 활용 동의가 확보되기 전까지 이 사이트나 저희 채널 어디에도 게시하지 않습니다. 저희가 분명하게 지키는 원칙입니다.
